Astro Photography takes me on great adventures to some incredible places. There is nothing like walking through a forest at 1:00am in bear country; climbing down the rocky coast of a lake with no moon and only your trusty headlamp or climbing to over 10,000' of elevation in below freezing temps to get just the right light.
I have dreamed about this since I bought my camera and I'm loving the results.

The place is the Methuselah Forest and it is magical.

Bonsai Rock Milky Way - Lake Tahoe
This dazzling display of galactic center was captured at nearly 3:00am on a beautiful still evening at Lake Tahoe.
I was dazzled by the end result and I consider this to be one of the most amazing places on earth.

Hole in the Mountain Milky Way
This photo was taken in the Broken Hills area of Nevada. I was taking pictures of Comet Neowise and turned the camera to see that the Milky Way was laying over the Hole in the Mountain.

Comet Neowise
I was excited to get the opportunity to capture this image of Comet Neowise in July 2020.
This comet makes a rare appearance and is not expected to come through again for another 4,000 years.
I also chose to put this in a tall 2x3 aspect ratio and in portrait so I could capture the full Big Dipper which has been enhanced to make it stand out against the billions of other stars captured
