House Finch in Downtown Reno NV

At first I mistook this little finch for a purple finch but upon closer examination I have estimated him to be a house finch based on his breast feathers. He and 40 of his friends played in my trees for several minutes before quietly disappearing.

This was an angry little fellow. He was smaller than all the mallards and geese but he had a ferocious temper and every other feathered creature stayed clear of him
